Simple, perfect, pizza slices.  I get a slice whenever I'm in the neighbourhood.

The panzo is also delightful, if you're feeling a bit more peckish.

    Always worth stopping by.

I will never understand the love of this place. Nostalgia?  Not sure.  Been in the neighbourhood 10+ years and I've thought this joint sucked since my first try.  Been many, many times.  California and San Franceso both have a better sandwich...

The bitondo calzone is cheese only and premade.  Can not get one made to order.  Wtf.  Not very appealing or tasty.  Block of fake cheese with little sauce.  Slice is IMO on par or below quality of your average Toronto mom and pop pizza joint.  Also, not necessarily cheap anymore given that a slice is $3+, served "fresh" out of what looks like an easy bake with the panneling removed.  Soooo many better spots within the direct vicinity.

This has been my go to pizzeria since I was a kid and it continues to be that way. It is on a side street south of College St in the heart of Little Italy, run by members of the same family. Nothing fancy but it has a comfortable and well worn charm that continues to please it's customers with good pizza made fresh before your eyes. A large pizza with 4 toppings will run you $20 which is well worth it (my favourite is with anchovies, pepperoni, mushrooms and hot peppers... yum!)
But the best offerings are their deep fried panzarotti. Soft dough filled with cheese and tomato sauce, one of these babies is a meal unto itself. Sometimes they have a few ready made but they go quickly. Yesterday they had a line-up waiting for ones to be made... well worth the 15 or 20 minute wait! There is always the PacMan console to pass the time.
They only take cash and have recently installed an ATM machine. They do not deliver. Parking is limited and you need to always be on the lookout for the parking cops who love to hang around the area and write tickets. Be aware and forewarned...!

I really like their pizzas, but when placing a telephone order, be extremely deliberate with your words. Ensure that they repeat your order back as I have had wrong pizzas made to only find out when I got home. Otherwise, all good. One more thing, make sure they give you an order number.

Quite possible the best slice I've ever had.  You walk in and it smells exactly like a pizza shop should.  The smell that stays in your hair and cloths.  The essence of pure bliss.  I wish they made a cologne of that smell.
The place is small, the oven is at the entrance.  The oven has character and is worked in like a 65 yr old hookers meat socket.
The slice is perfect.  Perfect crust, perfect cheese, perfectly cooked.  Huge slice.
    Panzo is not that great.
Possibly best slice I've ever had and I am well travelled on the pizza slice.  Good job guys.
